OUR TOWN HALL is designed to bring democratic power to the people from any community that wants the freedom to build their own futures. Putting neighbors together with neighbors to rule themselves and build their communities together. From coast-to-coast.

We will work with you. Register yourself and get started. We will all work together to bring democracy to life in every community that wants to govern themselves.

We will work together. We will learn from each other. We will amplify good ideas. We will learn from our mistakes and avoid repeating them. And we will cheer each other on.

THE EXAMPLE

We are building our dream in our own Town Hall. Check it out here: FRONT OF YONGE TWP

We are meeting our neighbors. We are asking them to register in the Our Town Hall app so we can all connect with each other and build our own community together. We are putting all our voices together.

We are gathering up all the ideas our neighbors have. We are discussing them, debating them, making them better ideas, and we will decide on them all together. We accept the rules of democracy. And with that, we are ruling ourselves.

We are even taking it further — in our next local election, we are running a full slate of candidates that we chose ourselves for all five positions on our Town Council. We will make the voice of the people our law so that the people rule themselves.

Our Town Council will have a new job description. To put into force the ideas that the people themselves have decided on. And that will be their only job.

And the OurTownHall.org app is the tool we needed to do it.

Ya … we are setting the example. You can do it too.

You can do this in your own community — in your own Town Hall. We will work with you. We all work together. And we will all elevate, enable and empower each other as we do it.

Let’s all raise our voices together. Let’s all build our society together — community-by-community is how we do it.
